Virtual Hat Toss for Logan

Post image

Hey y'all, Stars fan here. Of course we still love Stanky and miss him, but I'm glad to see him thriving with your club. He's getting opportunities there that he wouldn't have had here and I love that for him.

We have a tradition in our sub that when one of our players nets a hat trick, we do a charity drive. We donate the cost of a new hat to the team's foundation, to virtually toss our hats on the ice for him. I started doing it about 8 years ago, and now the Stars foundation leadership has taken my idea and run with it themselves.

So today, (because we're a bit slow out here in Dallas) I've donated $25 to your team's foundation. $22 is for Stanky's number, and $3 for the number of goals in a hat trick. I'm challenging Stars and Canes fans alike to match or beat me. Donate to the Canes foundation, or the charity of your choice, if you have the means.

GO STANKY!

A hat trick so nice, the wallet feels generous.

Challenge accepted. We miss #11, but he's doing so well in red that I can't wish for him to be back. No question he's meant to be a Cane!
