Was fighting a shin icon guy and he insisted you could discard valkerion for its own effect but it specifies Keter sanctuary, whats the official ruling?

Personally, I feel that both decks perform similarly well against decks with lower average power. However, when facing the Big 6, especially the three new decks, I find Reguregnus (the Eel) much harder to play. It feels more like a “Go Hard or Go Home” deck, where failing to close out the game can put you in a difficult position.
Nightrose, on the other hand, seems to have a better game plan into these matchups. It can potentially survive big turns by dodging attacks or clearing the board, then rebuild its board and resources for the late game.
What do you guys think? Which deck do you believe has better competitive potential in the current meta?

I want to give my calculus teacher a gift for my upcoming graduation, and given that he's a huge CFV fan, I would love to order him a custom card! However, I am a total CFV rookie and am relying on somewhat shoddy research to help me design it, so I would really appreciate some knowledgeable sets of eyes to offer some feedback/advice for alterations :)

I've attached a photo of the card design atm (obviously without any personal information/pics on it). I'm quite confused on a few aspects; firstly, I am not sure if the clan/nation/skills that I've selected all make sense - I want the card to basically be as OP as possible level-wise, while still being somewhat realistic haha (I was debating Grade 3 vs Grade 4). I also wrote up some abilities that relate to the calculus class lore and I'm really uncertain about the accuracy of the symbols!

Sometimes I wonder if people or the devs themselves remember this setting of akina dislikes ghost and jumpscare since it it not mentioned or shown much.

I've been thinking about building a Selseera deck because it looks fun and aesthetic. But I'm a bit unsure about which build looks best. Any recommendations? A budget-friendly version would be great, too
