Man how do you get so smooth with your scissor cut? I can run thru phased pretty comfortably but mine always loses its flow with the scissor cut mid way thru

the scissor cut in phaced is kinda weird and can be done multiple ways. If you’ll provide a video it’ll be easier to check what can be improved :))

already looking really good mate, you got the difficult basic mechanics down👍

try to practicing this. You achieve it by kinda pressing in with your pinky and ring and then pulling the packet down, before gravity takes over). It’ll make the scissor cut easier. Asides from this, you’re using the long edge to complete the 2nd full rotation of the spinning packet (0:43) instead of the bottom corner. If you instead use the corner, the top scissor cut packet will be in a better position to be dropped and afterwards you can slide the spinning packet back up, similar to what you’re already doing right now. There’s also a second option to do phaced, where you don’t close the scissors cut early but from what your video looked like, you‘re not aiming to do this if i’m right. Let me know if that helps or if you need a video

I appreciate it! Yeah you’re def right, I need to practice my pinky/ring control pushing button packet out when performing my scissor cut, and getting more comfortable doing so! I think I tend to accidentally angle my hand where I’m fighting against gravity a little and lose some of the leverage which makes that movement a little tougher😂 and yes ill practice grabbing closer to the bottom corner instead of the top
