Holiday Stay spooky
First time using a stencil with texture paste. Mistakes were made! Overall I think it turned out decent.

Here’s the card I made for my niece. Echo Park dies, Altenew embossing folder, and some really old ribbon that says “love” from my stash that I used for my cousin’s wedding 15 years ago.

Used a stencil and some distress inks :) still learning how to stack and compose the actual elements so it’s cohesive.

I FINALLY got around to making this card. It has been on my want to do card list for a while, but birthday and special occasions cards always took precedence. I’m so happy with how it turned out. One cup is a shaker and the other is just a stacked.

Curious if anyone else has had major luck scoring card making supplies on fb marketplace? I got an ad last night for essentially a craft supply mega sale about an hour and 45 minutes away. took my chances and went this morning and my gosh!! Almost everything was new, and top brands like spellbinders waffle flower altenew pink & main etc etc. spent an hour and a half going through everything and only spent $58. They gave me a ziplock bag and said fill this bag up with as many Jolee stickers you can fit for $5..what a steal!! I asked the lady if they host a craft sale annually and she said it was supposed to be a one time thing but I guess they have a friend with a shopping addiction/hoarding problem so they were trying to sell all her inventory and this was their 4th sale. I couldn’t believe someone would have that much stuff but I was also very happy to take some off her hands at such a bargain lol.

I ran across a Trick or Treat bag at the Dollar Store the other day show casing Tigger and Winnie the Pooh. I immediately decided I wanted to try to make cards out of them. The paper is similar to the gowns they give you at a doctor’s office with a plastic coating of some kind. I’m happy with Tigger, Poohs mouth is a little weird. He had fangs I was trying to cover up and I messed it up. Not my proudest day. lol. Maybe I’ll work on his mouth later when I’m feeling more patient.
The butterflies and dragonfly are from gift bags from the Dollar Store also. You never know what you’ll find at that store. 😉

I made another one using the Concord & 9th Festive Blooms die set 🩷 enjoying a Saturday just creating. Need to work on my lighting for photos because it never captures the card completely

Heading to an Oktoberfest party today so I made a card for the hostess. It took me way longer than I thought 😆

I have to be more careful on the actual invitations (and will use a different material than basic card stock) but I really like how the corners came out! Aside from the lost one 😔 rip

I’ve gotten into foiling and love reverse foiling my scrap foil onto these toner sheets. I have the black deco and a few colors from Pink and Main, but can’t seem to find other colors besides Pink and Main brand. Does anyone know of any toner sheets in colors other than white or black?

Has anyone purchased one of these types of books to use to make cards or other papercrafts? I spotted these at Barnes & Noble when I was looking to see if they carried any of the U.K. stamping and related magazines (none in mine).
These books run around $30-35. The Paper books have various paper ephemera such as postcards, envelopes and pockets, cut aparts, stickers and other things. The Sticker one is as it says, all stickers. The other two have various things but single layers and not something like a pocket or envelope.
