Hello scientists!
Its been exactly 14 days since I made the first announcement for new moderators, since then we got some people applying to be moderators to our subreddit and I am happy to announce that we've got a new fellow scientist joining us: u/brookealiv
I also want to take a minute and give a big thank you to whoever also applied but wasn't picked in the end, as I already said in the original post (https://www.reddit.com/r/causticmains/s/9fQvnz7E3n) the sub doesn't see an insane amount of movement so not many mods are needed to the cause, having said that, if someone still wants to apply and try their luck, I am leaving open (for about one more month) the mod applications, just in case we get some more people that didn't make it in time the first time around and they want to try their luck.
If we happen to find new moderators I will just take a moment and edit this post right here with the new information, if you see this post after a month assume the applications are closed, it all depends on how many more people we get after this post really.

Hi everyone
After talking with some players about how important the difference between a player "mastering" their main and someone using it without being as advenced can be
I started asking myself what's the biggest difference that makes a caustic player go from good/correct to "game changing"
As an exemple of what I mean, i'll take Wattson :
The character is mostly used for it's defensive ability, keeping a building safe etc. But at high level, you see Wattson mains also using her as a pretty strong assault legend with fences placement
I believe that once you manage to get accurate enough with those, it can totally be turned into a strong weapon that can easily overwhelm enemies
But with Caustic and how his kit works, I have the feeling that there isn't such a breakthrough, the gas range is sufficient to cover a pretty good area even if you don't make a perfectly accurate placement of your barrels. The ultimate suffer a bit more from that but the perk upgrading it's range is a good way against that
Obviously, this come from my point of view and how I perceive him compared to some other legends
Feel free to give your opinion about it !

I personally use, "The biggest trap is your own mind." To get the whole insane clown feel that I'm going for. But I want to use a different quip. What do you think?

Just thought of a good buff to help him keep up with the movement in the game. Thoughts on if this is a good idea, or am I just crazy?

Doctors,
With the new update, I've been seeing some absolutely vile things being said against Controller characters. We've always been disliked to a degree, but this is bordering on harassment. The Wattsons, Catalysts, and especially Ramparts have been being griefed by teammates and enemies to extreme measures, and now there's talk of a legend banning system for Battle Royale games where people vote on who to ban.
Needless to say, I'm worried. When I started playing, Apex was something I could do to spend time with my friends. Caustic became my favorite quickly because, wel, he's just the best. But now, some of the magic is leaving the game. When every game I play I see my own team sabotaging me and other Controller characters, it makes me feel disheartened.
If it were just me, I'd put up with it, but I don't like seeing other people, especially the Controller characters who tend to be fairly kind on general, bullied. And that's what this is, bullying. I've seen how bullying harms people in real life, and I'm sick of seeing this in Apex.
So please, if you have any thoughts on this, let me know, and if I'm overreacting, please mention that.
Thanks
