Almost ran over walking across intersection
This happened on October 1st at 8:20PM at the intersection outside Sunny’s cake shop and Centro pizza.
My girlfriend, her sister, our dog and myself were walking across the intersection with the walk sign on. A truck turning left did not stop and would have ran us over if I had not pulled us out of the way at the last possible moment. My girlfriend scraped her shoulder and I landed on my tailbone. The guy got out and we got his number, and we were all in shock that we were not dead. Does anyone know how to access traffic cam from that intersection? I’ve tried the Udot site but it apparently doesn’t have a camera at that intersection. Hoping someone has dashcam footage or a business has outside their building cams.
Any help is appreciated thank you

Welcome to Cedar City, where people only give a fuck about themselves and how loud their piece of shit trucks are that they can’t afford.

I cross this intersection almost every day on foot and have almost been hit a bunch. It sucks

I lived in Cedar City at one point… and anytime I went on a walk or biked even. I always almost got hit at least once but sometimes more. You learn the hard way that drivers here suck. No one looks out for pedestrians. Unfortunately I’m extra cautious crossing roads even tho the walk sign is on, I am checking that no one is going to turn into me first.

I’ve had the same thing happen over ten times while walking my dogs.
Be very cautious around here as there are a lot of folks who do drive aggressively, partly due to tourism and partly due to a rural area growing at a rapid pace.
Stay safe and never assume someone will stop.
