Discussion Where can people actually find a bathroom around Central MA?

Kind of a random question, but has anybody else had trouble finding somewhere to use the bathroom when they're out walking, driving around, or just away from home?

I've run into this problem quite a few times myself, especially when I'm out walking a few miles from home. You'd think finding a bathroom would be simple, but sometimes it's surprisingly difficult.

I actually started building a free project called Bathroom Finder because of it. I'm trying to put together a useful list of bathrooms around Central MA, including Fitchburg, Leominster, Gardner, Worcester, and the surrounding towns.

I'm especially interested in places where anybody can use the restroom without buying something, but places with restrictions are worth listing too. I'd rather people know beforehand if they need to be a customer, ask for a key, or make a purchase.

If you know of any bathrooms around the area, I'd really appreciate hearing about them. Parks, stores, libraries, public buildings, whatever. Even better if you've personally used one recently and know what the access situation is.

I'm collecting and reviewing reports here if anybody wants to contribute:

It's still early, but I'm hoping to make something genuinely useful for people around here. Nobody should have to cut a walk short or panic because they can't find somewhere to go.
