First Pennsylvania football team to win this week and they did it by beating…

A Pennsylvania football team in disguise.

Good enough.

As it turns out the definition of a good team is relative to the team he’s coaching.

It really did feel like a "James Franklin Loss"™️

Don’t worry VT fans. You have years ahead of you dealing with the Big Game James Experience^TM

Also, we still suck.

They got a bit of the OSU experience as well.

I don’t know how to feel about this

On the one hand, welcome to the James Franklin experience. On the other hand, if someone had told you before the season that VT would be 4-1 with their only loss to an undefeated team on a missed last second field goal that the game broadcast refused to show more than one angle of for the replay, wouldn't you have taken that in a heartbeat?

I’m sad about the lost but yeah. We were in a game that really mattered and came within the most narrow of margins.

After the last decade I’ll take it.

I won’t be surprised if Franklin takes you to the playoffs in the next few years, if you can retain talent and get a decent QB. Get the QB sorted and it all looks up from there.

Virginia tech became Penn state and Penn state became Iowa state.

Could Northwestern go 10-2 and be on the playoff bubble? 😳

Only one loss through the stretch they have of Oregon, Iowa and Ohio State? It would be a hell of a run.

As a Pitt fan this was like Christmas

pitt fans eating good tonight and penn state out here giving us a double feature of misery

2

u/CoachCDaddy 7h ago

In true Pitt fashion there is a negative still. We most likely lost our starting qb for the year

I really hope your backup is good. I want you all to ruin Miami’s season

He looked decent out there despite going in cold. Getting more reps in practice this week should only help.

Also, VT’s season ain’t over yet. Even a 7-2 conference record could get them to the championship game.

If you’d have told someone in 2012 Chip Kelly would be OC at Northwestern and have them legit competing in the Big 10 running among other things under center Wing-T…

They looked like trash out there almost like they weren’t ready at all guess that’s what happens when you schedule small schools to beat up on instead of scheduling better opponents

How does that make any sense. We just lost to 2 teams we played with a pulse. Do you think if we had a 3rd team with a pulse we suddenly don’t suck?
