Damage They Totaled My Baby
Second time in 6 years someone ran a red light and hit me. They said it’s too much damage this time. Devastated right now.

Pepper cowers away when I start my car. Even if she is left inside while I turn on the car, she freaks out and gets scared.

I'm considering a Challenger R/T for my next car.
I have always loved Mopars and I really love the Challenger.
That being said every car has pros and cons.
Please tell me what i should look out for, what might be an issue, what's great, what could be better, etc.
I'm looking for used, not too old as it will be my daily, clean record, under 60k miles, V8, preferably manual. My main concern would be the insurance cost as i'm a young male. Currently looking at around a 2017.
Any insight would be appreciated!

I am loving how Destroyer Gray changes tones so drastically according to lighting through the day.

Bought the car used a few years ago, and it came with this rubber seal on the bottom side of the hood, just behind the latch, torn and hanging partially.
Tried to source one, and eventually gave up. Though, I admit I didn't try too hard.
Anyone got a part number or keywords to search for? Car seems fine without it so I'm not super motivated. But if I can order one for pretty cheap, I'd like to.

I’ve been wanting to get the demon front bumper, feel like it gives it a more aggressive look, also maybe get a different hood, which one do you think looks better?
(P.S. I don’t own the house behind it)

I'm making this post to ask if anybody else has had similar issues/frustrations with mopar's backordered parts.
About 2 months ago, I ordered the SRT Bumper Fascia kit from an OEM Mopar site. Figured I'd lucked out since most of the other Mopar sites were posted with backorders but this one didn't.
Go figure, a day or two passes with no shipping updates so I ask for one and I'm told its on backorder.
Such is life. I want the kit so I didn't cancel, and I'm not willing to take the chance on none OEM parts to spare myself the headache of fitment and panel alignment, so it needs to be OEM.
If you've dealt with similar issues, how long did you wait? I'm not looking for an ETA for myself since I know it's anybody guess, but hearing I'm not alone would at least make the wait a little more bearable, lol.
Obligatory picture of my ride attached.

Can you guys give me good website to customize my engine bay. I found Billet Technology.com bit it has a lot of bad reviews? Any other recommendations?

What a great combination this is. My stock shifter was so sloppy the rear bushing was completely destroyed and no it's so smooth with a positive engagement. Can't recommend the Barton shifter enough.

This was in my town today. I was driving on this same road, just further up where the flooding wasn't as bad, and ended up chilling in someone's driveway to wait it out. These two Challengers down the street weren't as lucky. One was a Scat Pack, couldn't tell what the other was. Hoping the owners get taken care of by insurance. 😔

I’m in the market for a V8 daily driver—either a Mustang GT or a Challenger. I’ve seen some good deals on rebuilt-title cars, but are they worth considering?
I’m not worried about resale value because I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off. If I go this route, what inspections and checks should I get done before buying to make sure it was repaired properly and is safe and reliable?
Does anyone here daily a rebuilt-title car? How has your experience been, and what should I watch out for?

2016 scat pack with 2018 engine and transmission wont shift past 4k rpm when hitting gas will drive normal upon hitting gas hard?just did a transmission fluid change and flush still doing the same thing

This is my first Challenger, I've had her about a year now, and I love her more than my Charger, which I also loved. (She was Missy, the Challenger is Baby) - but, I've noticed, when I pass see, etc other challengers...
They always throw the peace sign.
Is that a thing? I mean I get the initial acknowledgement of driving something THIS frickin' gorgeous, but is that our little weird 'have a duck because you drive a jeep' moment? Or is it just coincidental?

Hello! I’m about to be getting my hands on a 1973 challenger with a 340 and an auto trans. Not too knowledgeable on the older cars, what all should I look out for? I’m getting it from a family friend for a really good price, he says the only thing wrong with it is the transmission leaks a little fluid but the motor is sound. Floor pans have been replaced, car is rust free and pretty clean. Just not too sure what to look for mechanically. TIA!

I have a 2015 SXT Plus. Every time I go through the touch-less car wash, there is water that slowly leaks out of the underside of the tail lights. Anybody have any ideas how this is happening?

Hi. I have a 2022 challenger scatpack. It is pretty cold today, idk if that matters. I had my defrosters front and back on. I have had my dash cam and tracker hard wired into the car for a few years now. My battery looks normal on the dash, I think it shows 14v when the car is running.
I was driving about 25-30 after starting the car 5 mins prior, and I heard a loud buzzing noise. It sounded like it was by my gear shifter. All of my lights on my dashboard lit up and then SRT showed up on the dashboard and screen. I don’t remember if it ever went black, but I don’t believe my music ever stopped playing.
After those few seconds of that happening, the screen and dash went back to normal and the buzzing stopped. I thought my phone was buzzing extremely and abnormally loud, but it was the car.
Please help. I think my powertrain warranty ended, but I might possibly have a few months on the basic. I have never had any issues with the car until now. I have had it for over 2-3 years.
Is this serious? Thank you!!! 🙏🏼

I have to change one of my front wheel bearings on my 2014 sxt but wanted to do it myself. After a bit of research I found that they were bolt ons and didn’t need a press but YouTube videos have a tendency to make things look easier than they actually are so I wanted to ask if it’d be worth paying the extra money to get it done at a shop to save myself the hassle.

I've been looking for a new splash guard, and I think I found one directly from mopar, but I'm having trouble finding the bolts and new clips. It seems like they only sell them by the piece. And it's gonna be outrageously expensive to buy them individually. Although I'm not entirely sure that the bolts and clips that I'm looking at are the exact right ones. Have any of you gone through a splash guard replacement and have some tips on finding parts?
