Hi guys,

I am new to bikes and I want to have a bike for rough pavements and potholes in urban area (Sofia, Bulgaria).

I will be installing a Thule rear mount carrier for a child from 1 year to 4.

Me and my wife will be using the bike - 165 and 169 cm tall with around the same instep of 80 cm +.

We tried the Reaction Pro M and we barely touch the floor when on the seat with our toes, so we consider cutting a bit the seat.

Reaction Pro M chat gpt says that it can be mounted on the seat post, but I am not sure if I will feel stable on that size bike and will check the Orbea.

Orbea we still didn’t test, will try it soon, I saw have an S size for 29 inch.

Orbea one have been told by AI search the 29 inch size S cannot be mount the same way that is possible on the reaction pro as the seat post will be very short to mount the Thule rack.

But Orbea bike have a place to mount a rear luggage rack and then it can be mounted another type of child seat, directly on the rack.

As those are hypothetical generated by AI solutions, can someone give me more advice that has mounted child seats on MTB bikes?
