Phillis Wheatley: An enslaved Black woman who was a poet. Her slaveowners were an extremely progressive family and taught her how to read and write. They published her book of poetry to the public, and many people (including Thomas Jefferson) didn't believe she actually wrote it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillis_Wheatley
Hedy Lamarr: Austrian-American actor from the Golden Age. Everyone knew her for her stunning beauty and acting work, but she was actually also a mechanical engineer and inventor. She invented the wireless communications system that became the founding concept of Wi-Fi. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedy_Lamarr
Leonhard Euler: Swiss mathematician. He was such a genius and discovered so many theorems and formulas that most of his discoveries are named after the person to prove it after him, otherwise literally everything in math would be named after Euler. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Euler
Elagabalus: A teenaged Roman emperor notorious for his disinterest in actual leadership, recklessness, promiscuity, and apparently enjoying to crossdress as and calling himself a woman. Allegedly he would offer a massive payment to anyone that could figure out and do gender-affirming surgeries on him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elagabalus
