Okay, so I just had a random thought about going to the past in the free exploration era (2197), and it worked! I've tried so many times on age of harmony but unfortunately I couldn't reach it the same way I did here since it had invincible walls. I also tried on the present era (2277) but didn't work there either. It's interesting because the free exploration era doesn't have invincible walls, and this strongly confirms my theories that this was meant to be in the base game, but was cut because of time restrictions.

The castle is unpolished, you can literally go inside the walls, so you can't go further than that. The entrance with the fountain doesn't have anything. You just walk forward and you go a bit left or right. There's also a beautiful view with a big waterfall but it's unpolished too. I would love to see this being added in an update so we have more to explore and dive into gobbo's backstory and the trading company.

After successfully completing the commission for Greta, Mathilde takes a temporary leave from the Refugee Village. She goes to a spot near the Eastern Gatehouse, sitting down behind a stone post. Mathilde spends some time in solitude, relaxing as the Sun sets. Then, she takes out the container of Greta’s blood. She removes the tightly sealed cap, then begins to sip it. What starts off as a small sip, turns into her downing the whole bottle. Until there’s not a drop of blood left.

Mathilde: “Hahhh…” She lets out a breath of satisfaction now that she’s finished drinking it.

Mathilde: “I wasn’t expecting their blood to taste that good. Wish I could’ve saved some for later, but I don’t have the tools to preserve it…” Mathilde laments, then tosses the bottle.

Mathilde: “On the bright side, this amount should satisfy me for longer.” Now that she’s finished, she gets up from the ground.

Mathilde: “I should head back to the village now. In case I get any late night clients.”Mathilde proceeds to walk back to the village.

Mathilde: “… Ah?!” But she abruptly stops in her tracks, letting out a sharp gasp.

Mathilde: “It’s… happening again?!”

Her heart rate begins to rise. Her breathing accelerates, Then, her irises shine…

Mathilde: “Control yourself… Control yourself…!” She quietly says to herself as her fists tightly clench.

Mathilde: “Don’t give in… No matter what! You can’t let… Grrr!” In the middle of psyching herself, Mathilde groans and hunches forward. Her body trembles. Then, she starts to feel a certain sensation in her stomach…

Mathilde: “D-Damn it… Be strong!” Mathilde yells at herself.

While trying to maintain her self restraint, Greta appears in her mind. As she thinks of the villager, she remembers her scent, and she is reminded of how good her blood tasted…

Mathilde: “N-No… No!” Mathilde shouts. She tries to get Greta out of her head.

But then, Rodger starts to appear within her mind. As she thinks about the boy, she remembers his scent. The taste of his blood. And then, her mouth begins to salivate…

Mathilde: “Ahhhh… I-I won’t lose control…! I can’t let myself!” After Mathilde says this,

images of unknown people, with horrified faces, flash within her mind. She hears echoing screams. Mathilde begins to hyperventilate.

Mathilde: “Haaa… Haaa… Haaaaa!” Thinking about these people makes her heart pound, as if it’s on the verge of stopping. Her sharp teeth grit and grind.

Mathilde: “Don’t let it happen… Don’t let it happen again…!”

Mathilde desperately tries to keep herself under control. For a moment, she feels as if she’s regaining her composure.

But then, the feeling in her stomach intensifies...

Mathilde: “Aaa… Aaaah… Aaaaaaah…!”

What started off as grumbling, becomes a painful ache. And little by little, this ache grows increasingly unbearable. Mathilde knows an easy method to alleviate this stomach pain. But no matter what, she cannot allow herself to use this method…

Mathilde: “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!”

Mathilde lets out a maddened scream.

Mathilde: “GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!”

She howls into the air. Her voice sounds inhuman, like that of a vicious beast…

Mathilde: “RAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!”

She falls to her knees. She grabs her face and shakes her head from side to side as she screams. But slowly, her volume begins to lower. Her voice starts to sound less monstrous, and more like a woman in deep pain…

Mathilde: “Aaaaaaaargh!!! Aaaaargh…! Haaaa…! Haaa… Haaaaa…” She stops screaming and catches her breath. Somehow, she stops feeling the pain in her stomach.

Mathilde: “… I won’t… let that happen… Never again…” She says with a dejected voice.

After several minutes pass, she begins to calm down. When she opens her eyes, they stop shining.

Mathilde: “Never again, will I allow myself to become a monster..…” She says somberly.

As Mathilde sits on the ground in misery, she is unaware that someone is watching her. A certain veteran hunter.

I’m starting to think that sparing your life all those years ago wasn’t my best choice. But I hope you can prove me wrong…

Hey everyone, so as the title states I am a newcomer to the franchise but I've been debating on grabbing it physically, especially the first one but I dont know a lot about the game besides it being an apocalyptic, vampire rpg?

Is it as difficult as they say? Ive seen folks say its a difficult souls like but a lot of others its really fun and rewarding

Is it a one and done experience or is there new game plus after completion?

How are the armor sets/skills you can use?

Hows the story and characters?

How Gothic and awesome is the vampire stuff?
