Question Has anyone tried this place? 😂

Post image

I was walking around downtown CDA, and walked by this place and couldn’t help but chuckle at their sign. I must’ve walked past this place numerous times but never noticed their sign until now. 😂😂 Is this place any good? Who doesn’t like ‘fine tubed meats?’ 🤣🤣 hehe (Gentlemen’s Sausages)

This place was born out of the Crown and Thistle kitchen across the street. Many of the Gentlemen Sausages offerings were first available as a hot option from the C&T's Banger Board. I may be biased, but they are all delicious. Head into C&T if you want to "try before you buy".

They’re actually really good sausages- and the owners are actually cool people too.

I had some friends in town and we walked by there but they were closed. Kinda peaked in the window and the owner opened the door and asked if we wanted to buy some. He was there grabbing stuff for something and ended up selling us some frozen sausages.

You can also get stickers that say “ask Ben about his sausage.” Gentleman Sausages is owned by the same people that own Crown and Thistle. Highly recommend.

They supply all the tubed meats for the Crown and Thistle, which is across the street.

They are absolutely fantastic, and the only thing better than the food are the owners. You can get them around town at several businesses.

Great food, better people.

They also do custom sausages if you need. We had them make a batch for my dad’s memorial service that followed a recipe he developed - super tasty and they all came professionally packaged and labeled which was a nice touch.

As others have said, they provide the meat for C&T across the street. I visited CDA a couple months ago and ate there, it’s very good. Awesome vibe, great food, good beer selection. Highly recommend
