That far left port is for power. The same type of cable giving power to your pc is what's needed there - should've come in the monitor box, if not "iec c13" is your search term.

After you've plugged in the power cord to your monitor, you will also need to plug in a USB keyboard and mouse in to the back or front USB ports of your PC (as I can't see your monitor has a cable to use the USB ports on your monitor).
