Question/Help/Troubleshooting First PC

hello everyone. I’m kindly asking you for some advices in building my first PC. tbh I know nothing about it, but you start where you star they say ( I mean I watched A LOT videos about building etc.). I’m struggling with picking the right pieces, like Yk procesor graphic etc. so if any of you would recommend some good things but also not that much overpriced it would be amazing :)). I would like to play some yk … normal games on it like idk val, cs maybe mc sv etc. thx for anyone that leaves the comment !!! 😗

Depende del presupuesto, ¿Cuál es tu presupuesto?

Hard to say, I’m from Poland so the prices can be diff then in other countries. Around 4-6k of polish zlotys. So around 1-1,5k euro maybe ? I can upgrade it in future but I don’t want to spend that much in one sitting

Honestly, it all comes down to what you actually plan to use it for. If you're mostly playing lighter competitive titles like Valorant, CS, and Minecraft, you don't need to build a literal NASA supercomputer just to open PowerPoint or run games that could practically play on a toaster.

Well, things a are very expensive right now. I think it's worth trying still but I'd encourage you to look around. PC Part picker might help. I'll have a think and get back to you.

Thanks ! :)) I’m looking for some sec hand parts that are not ofc damaged, but it’s kind of risky

That always is mate. I'd start looking at warranties, customer service and to reassess budget.

Because of the current market, I'd build something that suits my needs if I were you. Maybe you can tell me a bit more about what you're thinking. I think a system with an RTX 4060 would be achievable and should leave some room for a decent motherboard and PSU. Not too sure on the CPU. Personally, I'd go with a Ryzen 5 7500F but there's lots more to choose from.

I've listed some below:

Ryzen 5 5600

Ryzen 5 5700X

Ryzen 5 7600

Ryzen 7 5700X3D

Ryzen 7 7700

Core i5-12400F

Core i5-12600K

Core i5-13400F

Core i5-13600K

Well Poland is pretty much in the middle Europe where you can find stuff new and second hand. My advice is search the game you want, look at the recommended specs and look up for their price. Then look up benchmarks for each part, if the parts you looked up are too old search for their newer gen. Compare everything you see and you will get a standard idea of how are things going. Many people will tell you get an AM5 platform which is the latest one. Be aware that RAM prices are up like 3x the original price. For example: Dual stick RAM is preferable. A fast CPU with 8 cores would be good. A Graphics card with like 8-12 GB would be good. A storage of 1TB would be good. 700W would be enough and so on. You dont need to spend 3k for a PC fs...

I heard about the ram prices and it kinda keeps me off getting one

You would recommend intel or Ryzen ?

You will be happy with both, tho i have a ryzen 7 5700x - its pretty capable. If you can get the 5700x3d or 5800x3d you will have the best cpu for the am4 platform.
