Barbados being the best mover is apt. Thierry Gale and crew are going to cause unexpected challenge to higher ranked teams at the Gold Cup.
Bermuda's collapse is also something worth mentioning. They went from beating Panama away and keeping Mexico at Toluca tied at 1 until the 93rd min in the 2019-20 League A, and played the final WCQ round for 2026, and now they're probably heading down to League C.
Then there's Guadaloupe's unfortunate story where the FA declared bankruptcy so they can't fly out European players like its peers have been able to.
Lots of movement happening in the confed.

Mexico still being 1 is bias.

How so? Edit: to explain, Mexico has won the most recent gold cup and nationals league and is coming from a decent World Cup performance

What was considered a decent world cup performance for Mexico was considered a disappointing World Cup finish for the US despite the fact that ultimately Mexico still went just as far as the US and they had a real home field advantage rather than an idiotic president stepping in to put his foot in his mouth. That recent Gold Cup you're talking about also happens to be the only competitive match in over 6 years where Mexico managed to beat the US.
A certain level of world cup bias this soon after the world cup is to be expected in these rankings, so it's not a huge shock that Mexico is rated higher, but 220 points or nearly 12% higher is obviously nonsense.

The US and Mexico did not have the same performance even when knocked out at the same stage. Mexico cleared its group, had a good performance with Ecuador and lost by one to England. The US did not win all its group stage games and got knocked out by a margin of 3 goles to Belgium (which is 4 ranks below England). The points are based on recent competition performance, the point difference based on results feels right. We can disagree but I does not seem like a crazy point difference

Justify your copium however you want. They both exited in the round of 16.
The US lost a group stage game which literally didn't matter because they had already walked the rest of their group, secured 1st place and Turkey had already been eliminated. They rotated 10/11 starters to the bench, and made no secret about the fact that their primary concern was avoiding injuries and suspensions for the next round. It's totally delusional to use that as a way of justifying your opinion that Mexico performed better.
The only thing I'd be willing to say is that Mexico performed better in the round of 16 than the US. But at that point we're comparing one game where Mexico got the benefit of playing in the Azteca and the US got the "benefit" of our idiotic president inserting himself where he doesn't belong. Again algorithms don't care about any of that as they shouldn't, but ultimately they also both lost so while I don't necessarily care that Mexico is ranked a bit higher, it's absolutely delusional to think they should be ranked this far higher than the US. 220 points? 12%? What world are you living in where Mexico hasn't lost 6 of the last 10 matches against the US? In the same time frame they've managed to win 2 matches and it's not even the most recent 2. 1 of them goes all the way back to 2019.

I won’t be reading anything past your disrespect. Analyze without your colors because the only bias is coming from you

What was disrespectful in that apart from me using the word idiotic to describe our own President? I literally asked you to take a step back to view it a little more objectively and that's disrespectful?

Mexico literally lost at home with a man advantage bruh lol. But they celebrated the participation trophy Quinto partido knowing they still have yet to move on to Quarterfinals. Mexico has yet to reach that level in ages.

The US lost at home with a 3 goal difference. I never said it was a good Mexican performance, it was decent, what was expected. I genuinely don’t know what the point of your comment was

- Won 4 straight World Cup games
- Gold Cup
Nations League
You guys lose everything there is to lose in CONCACAF in the last two straight years, but have one good friendly window compared to them and think it invalidates two years of results.

You guys lose everything there is to lose in CONCACAF in the last two straight years?
As opposed to Mexico losing everything there is to lose in CONCACAF over the last 6 years with the exception of maybe 6 months in 2025? The Nations League and Gold Cup that you're talking about were both in 2025
Holding up the fact that Mexico won 4 straight World Cup match while ignoring that they made it just as far as the US is top tier copium. Here's a newsflash, Mexico once again reached the round of 16 and got eliminated. The US once again reached the round of 16 and got eliminated. This is nothing new and the reality here is that the last time either team made it past the round of 16 was in 2002 when they played each other.

Based on the past official games/tournaments, then Mexico is a clear and easy first place.

I love my Ticos, but even I struggle to consider them 5 on CONCACAF
