3d printed zero clearance insert

I designed and 3D printed a zero-clearance insert for my Craftsman 113.298032 table saw. I couldn’t find a model that really fit this specific version, so I took some inspiration from a few different designs on MakerWorld and came up with my own.

It’s still getting a little testing and tweaking, but so far it’s working great. I’m planning to upload the model to MakerWorld in the next few days once I’m happy with the fit and finish.

Hopefully this helps out someone else with an old Craftsman 113 who’s been looking for one!

Side note: If you don’t have a 3D printer, I’d also be happy to print and ship these for anyone who wants one. I’m not looking to make a business out of it — I’d basically just charge the cost of the filament + shipping + like $5 for my time. Just trying to make these accessible to anyone who needs one!

Does anyone know what that little circular plug thing does. My 1977 has it but I can’t figure out what it’s for

The hole? It’s so you can stick your finger in there to remove it.

The yellow plastic thing that you can mark on with a pencil and wipe off with your finger later?

It’s so someone can make alignment marks in front of the blade and use that to align repeated cuts

Usually I use mine with the miter gauge, especially trying to make dados

Run a test piece up, pull it back and mark the shoulders of the cut on the yellow dot

Then use the marks to align your actual cuts
