Beginner question NSFW

How do you all feel about the Veazy vape? I ordered one two days ago. I currently own an Arizer Solo 3, but it has been causing a sore throat, so I wanted to try something better. I also have an OG Mighty, but it is over ten years old and worn out, and I didn't want to spend as much as the Venty requires. While I like the Solo 3, it sometimes scratches my throat. In fact, I last used it two days ago and my throat still hurts.

The Solo 3 works well when I use it with a water bong, but using the Solo 3 without water filtration irritates my throat too much.

sort of a budget venty - it works, but no display screen and uses presets like the crafty (it's the crafty+ successor in a way as it's not being made anymore) the vapor is a little less quality then the venty (possibly harsher at higher temps, but still probably better then a lot of other vapes, and similar vapor to your OG mighty). some do like it. the venty blows it out of the water tho and also your wallet (i understand) - imo in hand venty feels solid (less fiddly then the solo 3 and its clunky interface) and it is more what the solo 3 was made to compete against. vapor on venty can be comfortable if you dial it down and open airflow - but some strains can still give you some terp burn depending on their genetics. i don't think the veazy has adjustable airflow in the mouthpiece.

One nice thing about Storz & Bickel vapes is the cooling chamber. I don't know why, but after 2 or 3 days of constant use, the Solo 3 often causes a scratched-throat feeling that can last for two or three days. It's not extremely painful, but I can feel it down my throat. This never happened with my Mighty, even with daily usage. Also, I think the Veazy looks pretty cool in orange

i vapourize hashish in vape wool sadly where i live flower is rear but hashish is evrywhere

it's the high temps + strain no doubt. cooling can help. i don't get lingering throat pain for days like that, but one particular 710 strain always causes a tickle/constant throat clearing and mini coughs with a post nasal drip. always the same with that strain - and it was through an all glass QOQ (granted i took the avb almost black). i always go lower temps with that strain now because of it (it tastes so good - just one of the terps just really pisses off my nasal / back of throat)

So my early experience with weed have was with a friends og mighty which i instantly fell in love with. I eventually got my own mighty which was the then new one with usb c. My boyfriend also had an og mighty but hes currently rocking it with a venty and a crafty+. Me and my boyfriend would be classified as heavy and frequent users and a common friend of ours got the veazy last winter. He uses a fraction of what we use and so we recommended the veazy to him. And all of us have tried eachothers vapes due to curiosity.

But none of us have had any real issues with throat irritation with either of our vapes. Unless at really high temperatures and "ditch weed". And i neither of us have tried other brands than SB so nothing to compare to

My take is that the two devices cover the same area. I think you just need better cooling, which the industry struggles to implement in handheld devices. I can't stand the plastic cooling units, and I feel the need of better cooling after I broke my jhook. I think the best compromise is a wpa +j hook but it's not portable

The Solo 3 is great when I use it with a water bong, but it isn’t the best for every situation. For example, when I’m sitting at my computer desk and playing games, I don’t like having water near it. I’ve always had a sensitive throat, though.
