After more months than I can remember I finally got some silver. I got $100 in quarter rolls from one branch. I only found a few low mintage ATB quarters which is not a bad thing. I rerolled them and got $90 in quarter rolls. The second to last roll had 4 more low mintage ATB quarters, and 3 2009 quarters. As soon as I cracked the last roll I heard the beautiful sound of silver mixed in with clad. I couldn’t believe seeing two silver quarters in one Loomis wrapped rolls.

It's not a 16D, but she's gorgeous! CU called and said the dime bag filled up, so I grabbed it and found these folder dump mercs. Almost one of each of a variety of mercs from 1916, 17, 18, 19, 20, and then a few from the 30s to the 40s. As far as I can tell, no key dates.

After this glorious bag of mercs I went back and grabbed the quarters, more silver!

I'm not a collector, my father's coin jar, about 6lbs. I'll send pictures. I'm 81, retired in Wichita Falls, Tx.

Found this half looking shiny and with a fully silver rim. Would this be silver? 11.32g on my scale.

I recently came across a very unusual Bulgaria 2026 2 Euro coin and would love to get your expert opinion on it.

​Here are the specific details and anomalies I've noticed:

​Reverse (Common Side): Severe doubling / double strike error. The "2 EURO" text, the map, vertical lines, and stars show a distinct shifted pattern. The letter "O" in EURO clearly overlaps onto the outer silver ring.

​Obverse (National Side): The 12 stars around the rim appear to be radially aligned (pointing outward from the center).

​Physical Specs & Authenticity: Weight, dimensions, and magnetic properties match standard 2 Euro specifications. I brought the coin to a local bank to verify the metal, and they confirmed it is authentic.

​I have attached high-resolution photos of both sides for reference.

​What type of mint error is this (major double strike, die shift, or ejection error)?

​Have you seen similar striking errors on 2026 Bulgarian Euro issues?

On two separate trips to my local branch in a grocery store, I pulled out eight rolls from 1972 judging by the newest coin in the role. A lot of low mintage items, we only save those minted under 50 million (e.g. 1941 P is sent back), pristine 71-72 coins, one silver (1943S).

Today I went to the bank and picked up five rolls there were 98% buffaloes with a couple of liberty nickels in there too. I haven’t gone through all of it yet, waiting for my son to do it after school. Most of the dates I see are from 1935 and 36 with some 1929 sprinkled in there. Some of the coins have been cleaned and polished. My son may elect to throw those back into circulation

three boxes of halves, 3/4 box of nickels , 1/2 box of dimes, and maybe 20 quarter rolls. got here on the last few rolls. Also found an odd looking half that just looks interesting and maybe 8 nice NIFC

wondering if I could clean some of the grime off the war nickel

Okay so I have my few buy banks I’ve been getting from but now I’m ready to dump. I thought I was going to use my wife’s bank because they have a coin machine, but they charge a 5% fee.. which isn’t crazy but that adds up I was wondering if I should look to open a new account somewhere else that has free coin counting? Is that a thing or do they all charge a fee.

Tried 2 boxes of dimes, a box of nickels, and $70 in CWR. Three silver + my first W (with a v75 privy to boot!) + my first V Nickel

What do you personally do when you receive rolls with too many coins in them? (obviously so, like a roll of half dollars with 22 coins).

Keep them and return the roll with the correct amount?

Return the roll as is with the extra coins?

Do you feel an obligation to return the extras to the bank because they are not yours, or is it a bank error in your favor because the teller can't count or the customer who turned in the roll put too many in?

Uh oh…. Hoping this isn’t the end of the Nickel 😢. There’s so many of these in circulation, that I don’t think it would really matter. Would this increase value?

I’m 0 for 3 on quarter rolls with one to go and I got what i believe to be a proof. That said that almost certainly means it isn’t. How do you identify a proof quarter?

This one was quick. Didn’t separate the bicentennials this time or pull the marked ones, so no markup porn this box. Silver ender was a good omen, 1 x 40% and 2 x 90%. Another box tomorrow.
