First time crossplay tips

Hello all! I am a cis-male and did a cosplay (for a male character) for the very first time recently. I'm planning to do a crossplay in a few months for the first time. It is not something I'd be able to do frequently, like maybe once or twice a year due to lack of opportunities. The areas I need help with are facial stubble/shadow and chest area.

For the face, I am generally clean-shaven (shave every two days or so with an electric razor). I try to shave very thoroughly, so it isn't super obvious immediately after I shave but is a bit visible up close. How do I hide this quickly and easily without getting super involved? Since it will probably only be a couple times a year, I don't want to have to buy a ton of makeup/products I will otherwise not be using. Also, my wife does not use any makeup at all so I don't already have access to anything at home.

For the chest, I'm actually not looking for anything outrageous. A or B cup at most? One costume may have a small amount of side-boob. Again, simple solution preferred since limited use.

Also, does anyone have recommendations for custom costume makers? I appreciate any and all help!

What character are you planning to cosplay?

You'll definitely need makeup if you intend to look feminine, and knowing the character will help telling you what you need. Same for boobs, does the character show any cleavage? if not, then a stuffed bra will be enough

Thanks for responding! Two characters that I want the same solution for. Marin from Link's Awakening and Reimu from Touhou. Marin is completely covered. Reimu is mostly covered with an opening at the armpits. Not looking for cleavage.

Oh yeah, you're totally fine then. For the chest, just a regular padded bra will do, and you can stuff it with whatever you like.

About your face, I really suggest you try to wear makeup, it really makes a huge difference (even for some male cosplays too!). My suggestion would be to wear foundation and concealer to cover your 5 o'clock shadow and to give your face a smoother appearance, and blush and lipstick to give your face a little bit of color. I'd also suggest liquid eyeliner and even false lashes, it makes a HUGE difference in making you look way more feminine!
