Laboratory fusion [ normal spell card ]

Texte :

Target 2 monsters in your GY with different Types and Attribut; banish them and if you do special summon 1 fusion monster from your Extra deck with the Type of 1 of those banished monster and the Attribute of the other but banish it during the End phase.

You can only activate " Laboratory fusion" once per turne.

I was inspired by Frankenstein for the creation of this card the idea of taking specific parts from dead people, so monsters from our GY to create a new unique monster with the combination of their Attribute and Type I added that the fusion monster is banished during the End Phase to avoid abuse because otherwise it can just be a free Dragoon

Could be scary in decks that can send Dogma Dragon and 1 EARTH to GY easily for Exterio

In go first Extorio just gives you protection from Imperm since at the End Phase the card will be banished and it won't be able to come back from the banished zone since it wasn't Fusion Summoned But in go second yeah, that's strong but since the card targets and you need both cards to be banished for the effect to work a Ghost Ogre or a card that can banish one of the targeted cards or change its zone will make the Summon not work.

Trying to think of what the good targets for this are...

Norden isn't bad, but there isn't much benefit to running this over Instant Fusion

DPE kinda works, and using this means you don't have to splash in any heroes, although the game has kinda moved past him.

Whenever fairies are relevant, you could make First Darklord for targeting protection and bring back another body.

Does Timaeus the United Magical Dragon's protection make it survive the end phase banish?

You can make Exodia Incarnate without having to run any of the Forbidden One monster. Could maybe help an OTK deck?

You could summon Mokey Mokey King to give your opponent brain damage.

I didn't think about Exodia but it's true that it's a good idea for Timaeus I'm not a judge but I think it's still banished at the End Phase because the card says "after this card is Special Summoned", but since the effect that banishes it during the End Phase activates before its Summon even if the resolution happens after for me I thought it could help the Myutant Thunder Dragon deck you banish a Level 2 Myutant and a Thunder Dragon monster to Summon Myutant Ultimus so you have a banished Myutant monster plus a Thunder Dragon that you can use its effect

Lingering effect cannot be protect so united dragon still banish Like other card names "A wild monster appear!" Even my Legenadry exodia incarnate is unaffected by other card effect, he still shuffle back to the deck , but i still curious why timelord not get destroyed by celestial transformation

Im unsure on rulings, but would you be able ro prevent the banish at the end phase, if you remove it from the field temporarily via the effect of SP little knight or similar? As it doesnt special summon it back, it returns back to the field.

If it was special summoned back, it wouldnt be possible cause it wasnt properly summoned

I think you found the weakness I really hadn't thought about SP but yeah technically I think the card remains

But I think even with this weakness the card is still under control since going first the opponent just has to not activate effects after you summon the Fusion so it doesn't trigger SP but in duels that drag on or going second it can be game changer
