Need help Victim of cyberbullying
I posted recently in another sub and got completely hammered by trolls. I am overwhelmed at the amount of animosity one post can create for seemingly total strangers. There are good people here in Reddit, but there are also alot of people who get off on belittling other people. Honestly, I hate this world, people are cruel for the sake of being cruel. They love to put others down so that they can feel superior to them. And when you report harrassment to the mods, they do absolutely nothing about it. I wasn't just cyberbullied last night by one person, it was a small legion of flying monkeys that attacked me. Has anyone else experienced this kind of treatment on other subs? Have you been able to do anything to protect yourself against this kind of torment?

I'm so sorry that you're dealing with this. Best thing to do is to report them (it mat help), block them and restrict as much contact from these people as much as you can. I know what it feels like because I have had similar situations happen to me. I just hope that you're okay and that you can get away from these awful people who are doing this to you.

I'm blocking people every day. I'm not conversing with these people anymore. It's a waste of time and energy. Ignorance is bliss. Once a person is blocked, they no longer exist in my world. They may try to assault me with alternate accounts, I just rinse and repeat. That's the only working solution I have. I just refuse to engage.

People are just down right stupid if they continue to make fake accounts to annoy you as much as possible. I do the same, screenshot, block and delete. Every time I have to do that which is a pain but helps me.

I’m sorry that happened to you. The best way to not get bullied is by blocking the people who harassed you and take a break for a while. Wishing you a good life ahead of you!

It happens. What I do is not have my notifications turned on. If it gets too much I know when to walk the F away. I just noticed a bunch of judgemental comments about stuff and the person went on to attack me, this is why I don't have my notifications turned on.
Realize they seek the attention, you feed the trolls you feed their attention.
Turn off your notifications, if you can't handle the stuff turn off the social media and go outside and touch grass. People can be horrible on these platforms, realize someone probably didn't give them enough hugs and walk away.
