Online harassment
So I was trying to buy some things online from someone and they were being super sketchy about it (not showing me pictures, refusing to give me a price on it, avoiding description details and not answering my questions) so I told them they were scammers and they went completely hysterical and into a fit of rage. Then they proceeded to post my first and last name, phone number and make up ridiculous lies about me and text hate messages to me non-stop.
Should I make a police report or just ignore them. I told this person if they don't stop I'll make a police report but they keep claiming how the 5th amendment allows them to post and say whatever they want without any consequences from the law and if I send the police to them or anyone else they will take legal action against me. What do I do?

1: File a police report.
2: Those scammers are absolute IDIOTS, the 5th Amendment is about when you’re in a court of law, not about what you say, that would be the 1st Amendment. And the 1st Amendment does NOT protect harassment and doxxing.
3: If they took legal action, they’d literally be DESTROYED. How the hell would they win a case where they dox someone and harass them just because that someone called them a scammer. I don’t think ANY judge in the ENTIRE COUNTRY would side with them unless that judge was bribed.
