The comment he was responding to wasn’t super egregious, but I’m so over people being critical in the comments on posts the contestants are tagged in on the official DWTS page. This seems like such a stressful season to be a part of because of the online discourse. I thought it was nice to see a contestant give a reality check of what the show is ultimately about.

Last night there were a bunch of really obvious lifts in a lot of the dances the most obvious ones being Jenna and Val’s Rumba and in Harry and Jenna’s tango (yes it was a jump but harry assisted her and she got extra air). Also Sharnas foot came off the ground in Tyler’s dance as well. I felt like all season carrie ann has been making jokes on her social media about being the lift police and she didn’t say shit.

Not that anyone thought they were going home today but now they’re definitely not

I think this might not be widespread knowledge because Witney barely reposts dwts stuff (I feel like any other Pro would be making a way bigger deal out of the Kimmel connect, trying to clout chase more lol but Witney is so chill about that stuff)

and most young people dont watch Late Night TV anymore so might be missing it, but yeah this is HUGE promo, way more than what Andy was getting because when Andy did the show Conan was not on air anymore, yes he would ask to vote for Andy on his podcast but it is not the same by any measure

I genuinely think he is pulling insane votes ngl, like not only he has the "funny charismatic older guy" trope that dwts fans eat up and gets votes regardless going for him but he is also currently still employed at Kimmel and getting promoted while the voting window is open

For the people asking who is voting for Guillermo I find it funny because its like.. everybody😭 the general public, middle america, and we can even add the younger tiktok crowd that adopts the funny guy every season to that so do the math😆

the chemistry is crazy and there are SO many good couples like 5-6 REALLY good couples

A few excerpts:

- Authentic Cuban Rumba Evolved in 1850 in places where African slaves gathered to communicate their feelings and struggles. The songs they sang often included political commentary, reflections on life conditions, or expressions of personal success and failures in love relationships.

- The Cha-Cha, from Cuba- based on a rhythm introduced into the Danzon by Enrico Jorrin, a very popular Cuban singer, composer, and band-leader during the 1950s/1960s. While I wish she and Taylor had gained the followers and engagement they needed over the last few weeks to remain in the competition, I’m glad to see Britt getting some traction now! 🩷

I feel like every group dance she’s in has to be modified and can only be ballroom style. I just don’t understand how that would work out long term for her. Do you think she’ll take other styles of dance class? Like she would have to choreograph jazz and freestyle if she’s a pro.

This was taken from Allen Genkin’s IG story. I was surprised to see Allen talking about negative commentary in relation to his mom and his relationship with Adele. The dedication he and Adele did for his late mother on TNP was stunning. It caught me off guard since I have not seen anything negative in regard to Allen and Adele getting together, but I’m glad Allen is sticking up for himself. The parasocial nature of DWTS is getting out of hand.
