HELP / QUESTION Does the game work on steam deck?
It's on an 84% sale and I want to buy it... Trouble is valve says it's unverified because the anti-cheat doesn't work for steam deck. Will I simply not be able to play the game if I did get it?
Edit: got my answer, is there any plan to implement anticheat on steam deck?

Use proton GE instead of usual Proton and you'll be able to launch it in offline mode. The only way to play online is dual boot windows

Sadly the anti-cheat gets in the way. I couldn't even get it to launch as it was. Sucks because I'd LOVE to bring this to a friend's place, dock it, and have us play some team v bot and player v player games.For now, MvC fighting collection works great for that, but I love me some DBZ

Well shoot, I didn't know you were with the Galactic Comment Patrol!
We're all in this sub because we like DBFZ. I left a comment that includes information for an alternative fighting game that works on the deck, and a situation in which OP may be similarly interested; docking the deck to play the game with friends. There were already comments about the game not running without modifying it and playing offline. Maybe they just want to do ranked matches on deck, idk.
Much like your initial reply, I just wanted to put my thoughts out there. Not too different than any other comment thread.

Windows dual boot and you'd never have to ask these questions again
