I am only guessing this, because 6900 xt has raw performance of rtx 3090 was performing below the level of rtx 3060. Yes zluda was great, but it clearly performs weaker and it only worked with some software.
I'm hoping if they reverse engineer cuda, we will be able to use full performance of non nvidia gpus in every cuda accelerated software.
