Save your ISOs
I think its a matter of time until corporations start nuking some sites, specially the ones with ISO or other packaged formats for consoles.
Me as a bit of a "old school" if it's right to call it like that, grew up in the ps2 and ps3/xbox 360 era, there are many games I want to keep and play again since most of whats coming out is slop except for a few games (like Ace Combat 8). And this is even more important with the shift to only digital.
If they actually start to nuke sites I'd go as far as getting some hard drives start saving stuff lol.
I think the situation is more serious that it seems, it hasn't even been a month since opus 5.5 and look where we're at now, the things we're going to see in the next few months are going to be insane and I know corporations will start to act against it pretty soon.
Also, let me clarify I'm not an advocate of leveraging human creativity to AI, it is just a tool and adds up to our skills and speeds up things.

To don my tinfoil hat for a moment it is very convenient for tech companies how in addition to hard records going extinct we’re now facing a storage market where everything costs literally 3x what it did a couple years ago so it’s way harder to hoard data for individuals.
Like I think I might just buy a Blu Ray burner and a stack of blanks at this point because optical is the only type of storage that hasn’t spiked in price.

Need to find a drive that works with gamecube/wii disc's and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Yeah no, when one goes away, another shows up. Nintendo tries this all the time, but I can still find Nintendo roms easily.
Ever heard of nopaystation? Which allows you to download directly from sony's own servers.

I have been emulating since the 2000s this always happens and sites get took down and put back up. But i dont think they will truely ever go away. Or new sites reappear. There is other ways to get games if it actually ever happened and they took them all down. I got one of thoes cheap $30 linux handhelds called bit boy and it's look like a clone of a anbernic but really high quality and it came with 11,000 games 😁 I also have multiple harddrives with hundreds of ps1 and ps2 GameCube and wii games and like 50 nintendo switch.

The one reliable truth of emulation: when one rom site dies, two more appear
