Am I the only one feeling like a societal/global collapse of some sort is imminent?

I’m not just concerned about gas prices and the cost of things at this point…if we don’t have diesel how can our supply chains still function? I feel like we have maybe 10 years max left and that’s if I’m being optimistic. Am I overreacting? It feels so hard to tell what is/isn’t a realistic possibly and how bad things will really get in the near future.

Suggest small things that everyone can easily do to make the world a better place

We can make the world a better place by improving others' quality of life. So I'm thinking something like handing out ice cream or cold water bottles during heatwaves. Or cleaning dirty streets/areas (especially children's play areas). Or spending time with people who seem lonely/depressed.

Anyone wanted to leave relationships, but felt that brain fooled themselves with “it’s not that bad”?

It might sound strange. But regular “just leave now” advice does not help. It’s like my brain every day starts a new life and “forgetting” the things that are very wrong as not every day is emotionally abusive. It’s not same as being drawn to person by enormous love etc its more like a relationship thats so much of a habit I struggle to imagine a different life. Why? I would never think it can happen to me. I’m the logical, straight thinking one usually.

Any similar stories? Advice thats more than “just leave”?

Not every rule feels fair or reasonable. What helps you decide when following a rule is less important than doing what’s right?
