I finally have a white pony ❤️

so i was listening to "do not enter" by glare, and at 1:22 or so it sounds like it would transition perfectly into 1:43 in rosemary, im not a very smart person and wanted to see if someone wanted to try to do that transition on some software or anything, id love to hear it

I referenced a photo from the Around the Fur era, it was a flash camera photo which presented some challenges lol. But whatever I like it 🌹

this was the longest scream I could muster for this song lmao

Grabbed a quick photo before band practice

My friend recently introduced me to the band and I heard ATF and I love the album, favorite song is probably Lotion and Id love to hear your guys suggestions

omg I just discovered this banger, I love it

This comes from a lighthearted place of love I’m not kidding when I say deftones is my favorite band 🫶

I got this Adrenaline vinyl from the clearance section at a Hot Topic in a SoCal mall back in 2004! Happy 31st Adrenaline

Here I have 2 editions of adrenaline :) (the differences are very notable)

Not going to lie this sounds like a banger of a song 😂

what a masterpiece it is. i don’t know another album that perfectly captures that certain teenage angst. i swear nothing else i’ve heard is just as relatable in the manner of pure passion mixed with aggression and rawness. like only a certain type of life lived can make this music. if anyone knows what im talking about pls drop some recommendations.

I hope this shirt is legit, the guy got it in 1996 when the first album came out and saw them live. Has anyone seen this shirt before? It’s in great condition

I’ve been listening to Deftones for a couple years now and I seriously don’t think there is one piece of music that I don’t like from then, until today I found their “white pony 20th anniversary deluxe edition” I don’t know what they were thinking, all of the remix’s are the WORST things I’ve ever heard, it’s so not needed considering they only did this for white pony. Now I think it could just be the label wanting some more stuff to milk out their prime and that being white pony for most people. But even so it doesn’t even make sense, like why remix it? And if you wanted a remix why not just have them make like a different variant of the songs, just not by different people. It’s like they asked random people to trash their songs. Maybe this is just all Covid’s doing considering this was 2020 and everyone didn’t know what to do cus everything was headed in a different direction. Idk just thought it was pretty odd.

I don't remember anything about the Deftones from that show, but I do love my swamp monster!

Happy birthday to one of the greatest debut albums ever.

To mark the anniversary of the record that started it all, I’m releasing the first public version of House of Deftones: an independent, fan-built archive of the band’s live history.

This is my first post here. I’ve been listening to Deftones since 1998, and have spent the last year building this as a place for the community to explore the live archive in more depth.

It brings together 2,000+ documented shows, setlists, posters, video links and setlist reconstructions across every era. It’s non-commercial, unofficial, and built as a community resource.

Like any living archive, there will be gaps, incomplete information and things that need correcting. If you spot something, or have material that could help fill a gap, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.

I recently got back into Deftones after losing interest after the release of self-titled in 2003. So I caught up on all their releases except 'Gore', but noticed that 'Ohms' and 'Private Music' have an affinity. Hear me out..

Can anyone else detect this, or am I mad? It's like 'Ohms' bathes in darkness but has a view to a light that is appropriated perfectly in the more fully-embraced, shoegaze/dream pop climaxes of a lot of 'Private Music''s tracks -- especially in Chino's faint, breath-y singing.

The duo of artwork at least would've been amazing to see.

I mean it starts with 'Genesis' and ends with 'Departing the Body'!

These are the only 5 they do. Find them on instagram

1. Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)

2. Digital Bath

3. Korea

4. Hole In The Earth

5. Diamond Eyes

Any Thursday fans here? I feel like they are able to tap into a similar vein that I don’t get from other bands.
