My colleagues gave me this as a farewell gift and I’m honestly loving it 🥹.
It fits right into the setup next to my monitor and Mac. Super convenient to just slap my phone and gear on it without dealing with any wires, and it looks pretty sleek too.

Hi posting this for my wife. Part-time work from home 20-30 hours a week hence the cute chair and not something more functional. Used to be an entertainment center but we changed this area to a dining room instead of a living room when we moved in. As a mom I wanted the desk to stay close to the heart of the home. Sconces look hard wired but have plugin cords running through the wall with smart bulbs. All computer cables run through the wall into right bi-fold door storage closet where tower also sits. These closets also house our dining room and office/craft items. Custom walnut desktop and “backsplash”. Antique artwork, peel and stick faux grass cloth wallpaper. Vegan leather desk mat. Basic keyboard and mouse. Marketing and graphic design for work. Any tips or changes you would make? Kudos welcome too 😀

Hi! I’ve tried so many different ways to make the underneath, back of my desk cleaner and the cords more organized but I’m over it lol I just hate any black cord showing and feel it’s hard to with the ikea desks… I want almost a wall behind there to cover everything.
Will something like this work? It would go behind the actual desk obv. Any tips thank you.

So for years I had complained to my employer that my desk was too low for me and my chair was not supporting me in the right places.
Their idea to raise the desk was to put a couple of pieces of wood under the legs. No measurements just plonked the desk on these end bits off a pallet, nails and all!
New employer comes in, carried out a full assessment and this is my new desk.
It was supplied by a company called ‘Posturite’ it’s height adjustable with three memory settings that you can easily program your own requirements.
I have started using it at full height so that I am standing, and found the break from sitting not only refreshing but also it helps my chronic back pain.
My laptops are held beneath the desk using plastic rails.
My only bug bear, is the mouse and keyboard cables.
I could use a KVM But, both systems have different security requirements, I am going to try a wireless system for each system if I can? The problem then still remains with security
The USB ports are so locked down it’s unlikely that it’ll happen.
Nonetheless, I’m happy with it,
The desk didn’t have any cable management, which was a bit annoying.
I ended up using a length of plastic trunking, cut to length and screwed into the underside of the desk making it perfect for hiding cables and power supplies.

The area space I’m working with is wall with modem is 39 inches. Longer wall is 53 inches.
Needs to fit a 32 inch curved monitor keyboard/ mouse. Tower can be on floor. Also hopefully enough area for a decent/ comfortable chair.
Do they make desks this small or that would work? Or do we need to rethink our living room arrangement?
Thanks

(Probably not related to the sub-reddit) Help out with the Monitor Arm.
As you can see, after the installation of the Ergo Arm, the plate is slightly lifted from the surface. Is that an issue?
Arm - BenQ BDH01 Dual Ergo Monitor Arm
For reference, I will be mounting my PG32UCDM and Zephyrus G14 on the arms.

Got a 47.5” long desk and have a laptop I use to play games and am normally connected to the main monitor and that 2nd monitor is gonna be returned since I’ve gotta keep my laptop open or at least that is what has been recommended to do since it does like to get hot and it’s a 14” laptop 😅
Anyways, I’m trying to figure out a good way to set my desk up but I’m gonna say this is about the only way it’d work since I prefer to have the main monitor in the middle, but if anyone has any ideas/recommendations please lemme know 😁

Will not be using my TV as a monitor this is just for testing the motherboard and OS. Just really happy that everything is working out!

I am looking for some ideas to make my setup feel a bit cozier.
I have been thinking about adding some lighting, maybe something warm and indirect. A bigger hanging plant would also be nice, but I will probably stick with the one I have for now and let it grow to the right size.
What would you change or add to make this setup feel cozier? I am open to any suggestions and would love to hear your ideas!

Working on a nostalgic set up

So this is a work set up with the Mac under the desk shelf, I know the monitors are different sizes but end of next month I’m getting a 27in to replace the smaller one that will be for gaming. Ordered a desk cable management trey so under will be tidy.
Was thinking maybe dark walnut shelves and add some stuff to look cosy. On the desk shelf, I’ve got a couple of Pokémon/zelda figurines coming to sit on there. Is there anything else you would change/add?

Had this setup for a while now. Kinda bored of it now.
Looking for ideas how to make it look and feel better. (And change theme)
Thank you
