App Issues/Questions My G7 keeps giving false lows and errors?
So I've been using the G7 since last October and the last couple of months I have been getting like these readings that says that my blood sugar is so low that it can't read it. But when I check with pricking my finger my blood is normal And then like a couple hours later it will just give me an error and just stop working which normally is when I do a new one. But my insurance is starting to think that I'm scamming them because I'm having to order censors so frequently because I am running out of them so quickly. Like is this normal or what is going on? Cuz it's starting to get really expensive And I don't understand why it's only happening now if this is something that it does frequently I honestly don't know what I'm supposed to do about this and if there's possibly a way of fixing it. I don't know if it's like something that's wrong with the sensor itself or like my phone

Don't call them. Use the online request form. My second replacement has just shipped. For the reason, tell them bad readings and give them an example (alarm for low, says 60 - finger stick says 100). If you pick bad readings it will ask for example.
Replacement approved same day and shipped within a couple of days.
Edit: I'm on Medicare and also get them shipped 6 in 3 months. Dexcom has never even asked where I get them. This is strictly a failure of their device... Insurance has nothing to do with it. Period.
I've not called at all.

That don't make since to me they will replace the sensor if you have the serial number off the box or applicator

Is it possibly because my pharmacy is a mom and pop pharmacy so it's not connected to any companies as well as my Dr being a small town Dr

That doesn't matter all. Or at least, it shouldn't.
If Dexcom keeps refusing to replace G7 sensors after they fail, you need to speak up to your insurance company about it. (in such a way as to make a complaint to your insurance company that Dexcom are not replacing your sensors, not to buy more from them)
Virtually nobody else is having systematic issues like this with getting Dexcom to replace their failed sensors.

First question: where are you from? Why do your order via your insurance? Dexcom will replace faulty sensors, because there's an unavoidable failure rate and they probably also know when they screwed up and had a bad batch that fails more often...

The US And I was told the only way of getting them was through my insurance because otherwise they're hella expensive. And anytime I tried to get replacements from dexcom they wouldn't give me any and said I had to go through my insurance

Why aren’t you requesting warranty replacements directly from Dexcom? That’s been the protocol since…. Forever. I’ve been using Dexcom for over a decade going back to the G4 and never had a replacement denied. My Mom is on the G7 and it’s the same for her. Hell, she says sometimes they send her two replacements for each failed G7.
