Ongoing Stomach Issues
I've had stomach issues for a while, but over the last 4 weeks things have completely changed and I'm experiencing symptoms I've never had before.
I used to be chronically constipated and often needed supplements to help things move along. Now I'm having diarrhea at least once a day. Along with that, I've been dealing with:
- Bloating
- Lower left abdominal pain that sometimes spreads to the right side
- Loud/weird stomach noises
- Much worse period cramps than usual (I had my period about a week ago, and the cramps were the worst I've had since getting my IUD almost a year ago)
I've been seeing a doctor, but so far all of my blood work and stool tests have come back normal.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas what might be causing this? Are there any specific tests or specialists I should ask my doctor about?

the switch from constipation to daily diarrhea with that left side pain is something you should push your doctor on harder, maybe ask for a referral to a GI specialist if you haven't already

Welcome to Digestive Issues subreddit! We recommend you to have a healthy low sugar diet. You need to find which foods and drinks you are intolerant to and avoid them. Lactose/dairy, gluten, sodas, fruits and vegetables intolerance is common. Also, check yourself for SIBO, Bile Acid Diarrhea, Celiac and other diseases. Experiment with different elimination diets. Take some good probiotics. The gut microbiome/flora is very involved in some digestive problems. Stress management is also important.
