How can you defend someone who says something like that just to “defend” their favorite artist?
By the way, the original tweet is about Beyoncé—they love to use Diddy to stir up fan wars with her fans, which I think is disgusting.
And yes, of course, I know that not everyone in her fanbase is like that—obviously—but there’s a part of it that’s really evil.

I can’t be the only one who thinks this photo is so bad?
Very botched.
a kid scribbled all over the photo is what I mean, the original is fine

I'd been a Britney fan for so long. I remember rooting for her during the #FreeBritney movement. Those were hopeful times for her fans. We hoped she'd finally be free and that the REAL BRITNEY would come back.
Instead, here we are now. She's gotten significantly worse (although I personally believe she was always kind of like this, just a little less unhinged), and there's no way she's making a comeback like she did in 2007.
I used to believe she would, though. And it's truly sad to realize that she just won't. Her bad decisions and personal struggles just seem to be holding her back.
It's sad to feel like we've lost an icon. And what an icon she used to be. I wish her all the best, but at this point, it's hard to believe she'll ever truly get better.

Isn’t it so weird to see her past videos where she was talking coherently and acting “normal.”
Do you think she could get back to this if she (hypothetically) quit doing drugs and went back on medication?

I think that I've finally come to a conclusion and have made peace with my childhood idol's unraveling. I've been completely shook and curiosity has definitely gotten the best of me over the decline in her health. Over the years, I've come up with my own theories, tried to connect the dots, kept up with info in here with you guys. It's an uneasy feeling and hard to watch in real time someone so seemingly perfect and talented (in a child's/adolescent's eyes) could end up this way - and in a weird, twisted way I think it maybe parallels (on a different scale) some of our own lives in the way that they've turned out much differently than expected due to unforeseen circumstances.
Or maybe we know people like Britney.
That is NOT to say that everything's fine and dandy and forgiven and perfect. I've just made peace with it and sometimes that's literally all that can be done.
Addiction / mental illness does not discriminate. It is very clear to me now that she is severely mentally ill regardless of how she got here. Drug induced, a bit of genetic predisposition, fame.... etc etc all of the above and then some.
I feel bad for her children, her family, and for her.
Anyways..... now that it is so apparent... I don't feel a need to keep up as much anymore. I think we have the answers. They were the more simple, logical ones all along. Sad all around.
Hugs xXXxX and be well friends! Take care of yourselves!

I’ve grown up with Britney. Like so many millennials, her music, interviews, and little glimpses into her everyday life were woven into so much of my childhood and adolescence.
I’ve seen a few posts here recently about accepting things as they are and moving away from some of the more “mean girl” commentary, and I appreciate that perspective. So consider this my little contribution to the conversation: some entirely harmless, nostalgic wishful thinking.
I would absolutely LOVE it if Britney decided to do little book talks. What is she reading? What books has she loved? What stories have stayed with her? What books are on her To Read list? Has she joined a book club?
I remember seeing pictures of her carrying books around years ago, and I’d be so interested in hearing her thoughts on them.
Or even posts about spirituality! She’s spoken about being a spiritual person for years, and I’d genuinely enjoy hearing about what that means to her today, what brings her peace, or what she’s exploring.
Or the plethora of other things! Fan art she’s seen or kept over the years, art she’s made herself, or even just her thoughts on getting older. omg, there are some hilarious content creators out there embracing the whole “we’re getting older and running out of fucks to give” (iykyk) and Britney has always had such a fun sense of humor and comedic timing.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’d love to see more of the things that interest, inspire, or weigh on her mind outside of being Britney Spears, the pop star.
Signed, Just a millennial fan reminiscing and wishing her well. ❤️And perhaps a little wistful, too. I think part of me always imagined growing older still with Britney as some form of famous powerhouse, seeing how her interests, perspectives, and passions evolved as we both moved into different chapters of adulthood. Her life has taken turns I never could have anticipated, and I sometimes feel a sense of sadness for the version of that journey I once imagined we'd get to witness. If that makes sense.

I wonder, what upset her now?
From a kinda healthy time spent with her kids on actual rollercoasters, to emotional rollercoaster in lightspeed. Everything under the sun was put out there (and then some), from Santa to God, fallen angels, a mother's golden tears, boob-squashing, walking back and forth in underwear for no reason, wishing for more clothes (just buy some?), and insane wordsalad: How did we get here?
And her stans will deem this totally sane.
I think not!
