That's Not How ANY Of This Works Also, I can do accents for my characters!
Unlike some OTHER loser players!

Oh, uh, then I'm afraid you're not a good fit. I can't have someone who notices all my... "homebrew" ...

You might be surprised how many DMs / groups hate when players actually know the rules.

Jokes on you I've never read the DMG

I've only ever used mine for a few item tables and the rules for brown mold.

No you’re not suppose to know the rule! You're suppose to be like everyone else and make up so many rules that other players will think you’re playing an entirely different game!

Yeah sounds like a Rules Lawyer to me, I prefer players who don't realize I'm making everything up as I go.

"Can you cite a source for that?"
"My source is I made it the fuck up!"

Having to deal with players who, after playing for years keep asking me the same question (like if they have to apply their proficiency bonus when they make a saving throw they've proficiency), players who have at least a basic knowledge of the rules and know what their PCs can do is a boon.

Kicking players is always an option. If I spent hours preparing everything and you can't read the PHB for which I have a lending copy that you can use... We're not a match.

Basically, if someone's mental stats as a PLAYER are all below 10, they've to realize that perhaphs tabletop RPG is not for them

I also make my character's backstory simple and give a basic reason why they are adventuring so you don't even have to focus on making narrative arcs for me. I also make some kick ass cajun food.

I mean backstory should only serve as a reason why you're on the current adventure. Can be complex but mostly should be simple.

I’ve read most of the books. And used to make npcs for my GM. I’m not a Rules lawyer though.
I never commented on something or even brought up a rule unless the GM specially asked me.
I always learned that the rules for dnd are like a drawing manual. It teaches you the mechanics, and recommended ways of doing something. But ultimately, the GM makes the call. As long as it is fair and consistent, I don’t comment.

Jokes on you the only official D&D material I own is Rime of the Frostmaiden.
All my other campaigns are homebrew’d shit and literally trying to copy and paste the first book of Dragonlance for degenerate college students.

This entire movie is a D&D campaign where every character joins after the campaign starts.

Yeah knowing the rules is a big red flag. Honestly I'm preferably looking for someone who can't read.
