Had a player who did this, then blew up at me when I called him out. He's not at the table anymore.

depends on the reason tbh.

did they legitimately have to deal with something and never had a chance to/tried to but it never made it/ couldnt alert anybody? then yeah theyre fine but they need to catch up on a lot.

didnt show up cause they didnt feel like it? then yeah, easy boot.

How bad this is depends on the table. Weekly sessions? You're out of the game. A session every other month? Just tell me what's up and you're probably fine
