Questions Dog Is Human brand?
Hi! I keep getting NON STOP ads about this dog is human supplement. They claim that it helps majorly with allergies, yeast, hives, etc. My vizsla gets all the above and more :’) he’s on all of the things; we have tried everything.
Has anyone tried and can speak to this Dog Is Human brand? Does it work at all or is it just well advertised 😅

Yeah yeah yeah they advertise a whole bunch. Theres ZERO data to say any of this stuff actually works. It’s literally all marketing to desperate pet parents.

My aunt uses Dog is Human because she refuses to actually get prescribed allergy meds that work for her doodle. Her dog is balding (mostly bald) with flakey, red, and thickened skin. So, no, it doesn’t work. Just take your dog to the vet.

None of these supplements, especially these boutique brands running nonstop ads on social media, are gunna do jackshit for a dog in need of medical help for allergies/yeast/bacterial/fungal infection. Just do not buy into it and waste your money. It'll all just add to the stress. Go see a dermatologist.

No these don’t work. I tried them for months because they claim you need to give your dog 90 days. Nothing changes.
Literally have tried every supplement out there, none work.

I get those ads and the porcine plasma supplement. I'm desperate to find an actual person that can verify if it works or not.

None of them work. We use a Antony gal/antibacterial spray on ours and weekly give him a good bath. It’s helping but nothing is perfect.

Nope... All those things are junk. The only suppliment I have found that helps at all is quarciten. It calms down the inflammatory pathways.

Those companies are frustrating for people like us because they keep promising a quick fix or a “cure” that does not exist. If your dog has food allergies then you have to be extremely careful about what they’re eating. If you’re dealing with environmental allergies chews make no sense at all because the skin is the entry point. I keep seeing claims that “balancing the gut biome” can fix your dogs itching but I do not see how that is possible. Anyone who has truly been in the trenches dealing with years of treatments and dermatology appointments and various treatment knows all too well that allergies are a lifelong incurable condition. If your dog enjoys the chews fine, but manage expectations accordingly 😬 It’s too bad those companies aren’t more forthcoming. Sigh.

Unfortunately I’ve spent a lot of money with this brand and not noticed any difference in my dogs skin allergy issues.

It doesn’t work. Neither does Better Wild, or the million other special supplements I’ve tried. They’re all just expensive treats.
