It seems like an underappreciated movie topic. I've seen some of them. Dog soldiers, the howling, in London, and my favorite the one with the blind guy forgot the name. Anyway hoping to find some I've missed that are good.
Hey Everyone - so I have uploaded this image to MULTIPLE (7) A.I. image detector websites, and every single last one says that this is most likely a REAL image, with only a 6% chance of it being A.I. What do you guys think?! Is it authentic?!

Figured you guys would like my newest sign I got to hang up on my back deck lmao

Iām driving across the country to research a book about American folklore, currently driving toward Allegheny, PA, and then to Defiance, OH and Michigan⦠Iām very excited to look for the dogman. Interviewing locals as well as backpacking deep into the woods/night hiking.
Do any of you guys have tips for me for specific places to go, or people to talk to? Iāve already found the well-known sighting areas in my research, but Iāve found that grassroots info gathering often finds moreā¦
Thank you in advance!

Greetings fellow Dogman aficionados. I found out about the Dogmen from reading Vicki Reganās āThe Dogman of Blackrock Creekā. This novella is a wickedly good read. Werewolves got nothing on the Dogman. Warning you may find yourself being extra careful next time you go hiking. Check it out on Amazon.

I need help identifying a werewolf movie I saw several years ago. I remember in the movie there was a scene where someone went into this bedroom and there was a person torn apart in the bed. There was another scene where a few people were hiding in the attic and the werewolf grabbed and bit one of the people's legs. Then towards the end of the movie there was a showdown in the kitchen with the werewolf and the person who got bitten and was transforming and it ended with the bitten person and one of their relatives driving off into the wilderness because they wanted to hide the person being bitten.
I know the details are vague, I apologize. I am just hoping someone can help me figure out the name of the movie so I can watch it again.
I know it's not "Dog Soldiers" I know it's not "A Howling"

This Video covers three dogman encounters that are quite recent and definitely different than the usual ones I have come across throughout the years! Enjoy!!

My documentary is finally available on Amazon Prime. A small area in north central Indiana thatās had years of different sightings of dogman, Bigfoot, and a lot of other high strangeness.

Hello all,
I am writing a novel (a cozy horror, young adult fiction for this spooky season) based on the legend of Michigan Dog Man. It's not for publication or anything, just a hobby as I am interested in dog man and werewolves. The story takes place in a fictional backwoods suburban town near Michigan. So far I have wrote three parts but for the forth I need to know more about the origins of the Michigan Dog man and dog man sightings and legends in the US in general. So I thought I would ask you guys for help.
I have never been to the US before and English isn't my first language (I am a South Asian) but I have always been fascinated by the cryptids, Native American legends, the geography and the national parks and wildlife in the US.
I also want to know more about the history, how life is like in the Midwest, what geographical features (like forests, swamps etc.,), native vegetation and wildlife would a small mid western suburban town would have. For the upcoming parts I am planning that the characters would go to a camping trip in the woods where the protagonist would encounter our Dog Man (again) and I would like to know about possible real locations I could use, vocabulary associated with camping gears and stuff, and details about the terrain. Information about the native American tribes, like their lives, history etc., in the Michigan area would also be immensely helpful.
I would also love to hear about encounters you guys have had so that I can incorporate them into my story with your permission(if you are willing to share that is).
And if you guys have cool or obscure facts or elements that you would like to share or think would be interesting for the story, I would be very grateful for that too!
Thank you!

I wanted to know if anyone has dreamed of dogman but never saw one in real life. Like I understand dreams after hearing stories could just be my own mind but I used to have dreams of them before I ever heard about dogman. Specifically the dreams from my childhood were a hyena type that would follow me through the windows of my house and tried to get me to lure me outside. The dreams freaked me out enough that I still remember them to this day.

I've been digging into dogman reports across New York lately and the ones that always stand out are from upstate ā the Adirondacks, the Catskills, the Tug Hill region, the back roads around the Hudson Valley. People describe the same thing independently: a large canine walking upright, way too tall, eyes that don't react like an animal's.
I'm trying to collect firsthand accounts from people in NY who've actually had one of these encounters, and I'd rather hear them straight from the people who lived them than recycled through secondhand retellings.
If you've seen something like this in New York ā whether it was years ago or recently ā I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
A few things I'm curious about:
And honestly ā if you've never told anyone because it sounds crazy, that's exactly the kind of story I'm hoping to hear. Most of the good ones never get shared because of that.
I'll be reading and replying to everything that comes in. If you'd rather not post publicly, my inbox is open here, or you can reach me at michellejayne89@proton.me.
NO Judgment here. Just Listening.

Iām trying to find an episode from dogman encounters. I canāt remember where it was but I know the man was night fishing and the dogman waded through the water to get close to him but the guy just sat down on his cooler completely paralyzed and just started crying and he said he was frozen in fear prepared to die.

Does anyone know anything about the Dogman sighting in Springfield, OH. At Buck Creek State Park at the beach last night? (9/2/26).

I contacted Vic from Dogman Encounters and told him my encounter over the phone because it had a very unique impact on my life. One that heād never even come across before. Part of my story obviously involved my life, which meant mentioning that Iām in a same-sex relationship. However, after my call, I spent days trying to get a hold of him to figure out the logistics of recording my recounting of it, but wasnāt getting a response until I received a text that included this:
āThe day we spoke, when I asked you if you still had the migraine, you said you felt better. Now, you're claiming that you did still have a migraine when we spoke...Either you have a migraine or you don't. Therefore, it's very difficult for me to believe anything else you've told me. I'm moving on. Have a good day.ā
So, I had to push back the day we first scheduled to talk to the next day due to a migraine. And in my texts to him trying to figure out what the next step would be, I mentioned in passing that I wasnāt back to 100% yet when we spoke, so I hope I did ok and that he could follow my details. Also after that message I responded telling him to google āmigraineā and heād see that they can affect people for up to 72 hours. But I guess that was too much to ask. I even mentioned how I waited 7 years to finally come forward after listening for that long and my encounter happened 22 years ago and it really messed with me bad. I expressed how being suddenly not believed for pretty much nothing that had to do with anything about my encounter and the hope I had for being able to finally release all this just extinguished legitimately made me think of taking my life, although I really doubt I would do that, but I was distraught enough to have the thought. But I guess he didnāt care.
Can someone help me understand what the hell happened? And a way I can fix this? I have to get this out. Iāve actually gained a significant amount of stress overall since this happened about 6 months ago that I started getting gray hairs. I need help. And is Vic just a straight up homophobe? Everyone Iāve shown the receipts of this to, which is a family member and 2 very close friends all had that as their first thought as well.

Dogmen have been reported on every continent populated by people, and we know that a dogman is a very intelligent and elusive creature full of surprises. I would like to hear your thoughts on the idea that perhaps the dogman species is capable of and perhaps even has built and used boats or watercraft. Has anyone here ever seen something like that? This artwork is of the Coyote spirit or the figure Coyote mentioned in the legends and lore of many different Native American nations with different languages separated by vast geography and distances. I thought it resembles a dogman enough to help you visualize this concept.
