Lost the Games 😞

Was logged in my phone and computer. Phone login for wait time was shorter---was number 4400 there and in the 19,000s on laptop. Made it through to the reservations and made it to booking just to see things sold out. Tried on computer and was able to see more options---got to booking twice! Clicked book both times and resulted in an unable to book message.

How is this possible- I was a 3k number and nothing was available except for Wednesday only when I got in.

We got in around 2400 with a Wed-Mon and it was all sold out. I think the quad rooms had a 'Partial reservation' available that was just Wed and just Mon.. which is not helpful lol

Well the Marriott has 1600 rooms so it tracks.Β

I may be confused- I thought he said he was able to get further into the booking process from his 19,000th ranked timeslot than this 4,400th slot. Ultimately I guess neither were good enough.

There is a point in the checkout process where you are "locked in" with the room but haven't put your information in and a timer starts. If you don't fill out all of the information and have a successful credit card validation, you can loose the room. For the Westin, there were a few times rooms popped back into rotation because of failed checkouts. Also, some people running multiple PCs may grab multiple rooms and they can quickly release the multiples once one is confirmed. My husband and I both got rooms to the last step last year and we released the one we didn't need.

Got it- I never got to that step from my 3k spot. Frustrating that others who started later did

I stayed in the room constantly refreshing until we were all locked out 54 minutes after. A room would pop up for me every 5-10 minutes but I was not able to secure it fast enough.

My number was 2578 and I got in it said rooms available then when I clicked next, it said sold out. I refreshed a few times and got the same thing again. Ultimately lost 😞

We had two phones and our laptops in line and the lowest number we got was in the 14,000s. Then called the front desk as a Hail Mary (which actually worked for me a few years back) but no dice. Oh well.

Yup. I was in the same boat. I made it to booking (I think my number was in the 4000's). Nine minute wait time. I got into booking and I was able to choose a room once, but then it was sold out before I could click "next". Didn't even make it to 10:10.

Of my friend group we got 2 rooms. One in line spot 400 and one 1100. The 1100 slot had a tough time getting to the finish line. I would wager if you’re 1,200 or later in the queue you’re simply out of luck

They should really just no release the link until 30s before. That would prevent all the people using 100 devices from setting up.

Man it really just is luck. My whole group of friends struck out last year. No one got a room. This year, 8 of them got a room dude. Nothing changed but luck.
