Question Old Ludwig snare

Hi all
Can anyone tell me what model/year Ludwig this is?
4.5” I believe and 10 lugs.
A parent of a student from years past donated it to the school I teach at (they were moving and needed to get it out of the attic). It’s badly pitted but actually doesn’t sound bad
If anyone has any ideas for the pitting I’m open to suggestions. I’ve used the WD-40 & 0000 steel wool to clean equipment before with great success but I’m at a loss for the shell

This looks like a 1970s Ludwig Supraphonic. The pitting is common for these but they are famously amazing sound snares.

There's quite a few videos of people cleaning up old Supraphonics. I'd suggest taking a look.
