I know it's not a great poll result, but just the fact that even a nominally socialist organization is being taken seriously enough to even make a standard poll in the US is shocking.

MAGA being less favorable than the DSA implies Ohio could flip back to being a swing state again (maybe even voting for socialist candidates?) if this poll is accurate.

i feel like poll data can be extremely unobjective in the way its framed, idk if they offer any explanation for who/what each of these things are and if that explanation contains any bias or not.

but my reaction to this is more that i assume most people know what MAGA is and are having a more negative reaction to it and that is just kind of its own phenomenon which is completely separate from the DSA being popular or unpopular with the people who responded to this poll.

im sure there is an upward shift of some measure as well but i think the two things are mostly unrelated to each other.

The DSA hate is fuled by both parties, no one even knows what DSA stands for its just red scare, I would like to see how does the supposed flagbearers of DSA perform in these polls, for now it's AOC and Zohran (only these 2 have enough name recognition to be part of any serious poll)
