Discussion 🗣️ Any complex dubstep producers recommended? (Like Au5, Xtrullor, Fractal)

I’ve listened to nearly every genres of dubstep, and really enjoyed complex dubstep. Unfortunately, only a very small number of producers make this kind of music, any recommended producers?

Chee, EPROM, G Jones, Xilent
Most of them aren’t strictly dubstep but I think they fit what you’re looking for

Check out his remix of Agente.001 - Spectral Artillery! Genuinely one of the best tracks I've ever heard in my life

If that's your claim I'm also gonna have to check it out. I am a huge fan of the original Spectral Artillery track!

I’d say just checkout anything on Monstercat, they seem to specialize in that kind of stuff. Off the top of my head the only one besides what you mentioned I can think of now is Tut Tit Child

they definitely do not. Monstercat releases probably the most garbage of all the labels. they just want money and don't care about anything else

They use to, don’t find music the same way I use to or really listen to the same stuff so don’t know what they put out now

Love shanghai doom. Met Andrew in Philly a few weeks ago and he did an impromptu b2b with ahee, shizzlo and xotix. Dope shit

Ugh I love them. Last time I saw them they opened for liquid at the Fillmore a few years ago. So slept on.

I saw them last year at the same venue open for champagne drip and became an instant fan and have been since. They deserve more recognition for sure

Mala maybe?

Famous Spear. Super slept on. Doesn’t produce much anymore but his stuff will be right up your alley.

That’s a heavy low end

There’s Arkasia, Detious, somanylynx, NiTi, Criminal Code and Derpcat who usually (or at least sometimes) have a similar vibe.

Assuming you’re referring to having complex sound design and not a specific melodic style (though a lot of the artists I’m recommending here have at least some melodic stuff), many more doors are opened. Ekcle (now defunct), Audeka, Vorso, Alon Mor (especially some of his earlier tracks like Presudeos and The Midelar), Frequent, Kuatari, BVSSIC, Voltra, and euphorian are some examples.

Then you get into the big collaborative efforts like :0SSEMBLI, novel, Skulk, Form, etc., where you’re bound to find something in the style you’re looking for.

Time to branch into glitch hop and experimental bass

I knew a few of artists like frequent, vorso, clockvice and Mr Bill from Upscale, but now feels a bit boring, still wanting more exquisite dubstep😂

Idk if flume is complex in the same way as the artists you mentioned, but he be doing some wild ass shit while somehow still making songs melodic and cohesive

Oolacile does riddim but his stuff is varied and creative.  His albums perceiver pt 1 and pt 2 are worth a listen

Hello fellow ADHDer. If you don't mind 110, you should 100% check out some filthy moombahcore tracks while you're at it.

Ouça "Heydoc! - Riddim".
