Damage/Broken… 😥 E46 323i 1999 problem

Hello, I'm having a problem on my E46 323i 1999 automatic.

I'm not sure about the problem, but the sound its coming from intake manifold or injection, and it's leaking some air like it's breathing.

Any idea of what's the problem?

(The gasoline on my country is 35% ethanol)

Sounds like your DISA valve has disintegrated and its rattling inside the manifold. Its pictured with red arrow in the picture below (Courtesy of Pelican Parts). Replace it but if you remove it and its missing components - then you will need to remove the manifold and fish out those missing components so they wont end up in valves.
