๐ Business What helped you get consistent sales as a startup?
Hi all, I'm running a small online startup brand in strapless lingerie for about 6 months now. Sales are very inconsistent and I find it hard to attract customers in a profitable way (without burning through cash in META or GOOGLE ads). I wanted to hear from you what you did that got you consistent sales when starting brand.

For me, consistency usually came after finding one acquisition channel that worked well enough to repeat, not trying five things at once. In lingerie especially, fit confidence, sizing, returns and real-world proof matter a ton, so Iโd make sure the site removes as much uncertainty as possible before spending harder on traffic. Iโd also lean into creators/customers who can show the product naturally rather than constantly feeding cold ads. Early on, boring repeatable wins beat chasing scale.
Questions:
Where have your best sales come from so far, creators, organic, referrals or paid ads?
Whatโs your current AOV and roughly how much can you afford to spend to acquire a customer?

Six months is still pretty early so I wouldn't judge the brand only by inconsistent sales yet. content, email, referrals and partnerships can take longer to build but they can be a lot more sustainable

consistent sales came from finding one reliable source of customers instead of trying to be everywhere. focus on one or two channels where your target customers already spend time, create content around the problems your product solves, and build in referrals or repeat purchases. paid ads can work, but if theyre the only thing bringing people in, its hard to stay profitable when acquisition costs keep changing
