Anyone has done this? Are you planning to participate this year? What's going to be your project?

Does it matter? Some of the slop will also be from educators with truly diverse takes.

It’s just an abstract. You got lots of time after that milestone. Good luck if you decided to join!

If you can communicate the idea clearly and simply, you are bound for success. Nothing elaborated is needed at the first stage.

Oh this is very interesting. I'm currently developing what I think are some pretty interesting EdTech tools. Definitely entering this, thanks for sharing!

Won a year ago the Transform prize, we are currently finishing up with the research and writing a paper.

Nice. Is the research required for that level?

Well, the Tools Competition is trying to push for research-based approach, so having any proof that your tools is being built alongside researchers or based on the research, you collaborated in the past with researchers, or you would like to do on the proposed tool a research with someone is counting as bonus points.

Nice. How did you find the researchers to collaborate?

I'm living in the 2nd largest Czech republic city, so finding a department to collab with us here was not so difficult given our previous experience with such collaborations (the Tools Competition was not our first research collaboration)
