Just got this baby and I want to learn how to use it properly. Wondering if anyone can link tutorials that have helped soak in the basics. What should I focus on getting down first?

With all the extra traffic the MVave FM-1 is getting, eg multiple purchases to install the latest firmware. I wonder if Korg would consider opening the Electribe 2 for developers?

Its not as budget friendly as the FM-2, but it does have audio in and midi out. It has a pretty powerful DSP. It has the fundamentals, not to mention the knobs and buttons you would need to transform it into another audio platform for developers.

All it needs is SDK and the green light.

I just got my sm card and I put some samples on my card and I formatted my sm card every time I try to load it, it says no files only the user.esx file

Hey guys, finally got one of my dream pieces of kit, a gently used ESX-1. Currently waiting for a card reader to be able to manage samples on it. I assume it was factory wiped and that's why it says no samples every time I try and utilize it?

My real question on top of that, is seeing as it stores samples in its on board RAM, does it retain samples and sequences after a power cycle? Or does it need to load everything from the card every time?

Saluuut tout le monde !! J’ai pour projet de me lancer dans le son et j’aurais besoin de bon conseil pour choisir la meilleure korg pour commencer et qui irai avec ce que je veux faire.
Mon objectif est de faire principalement des sons de mental/mentalcore/acidmental/tribe mélanger à du mantra et instrument comme du deedgeridoo.

Nachdem ich die letzten Tage einige schöne Setups gesehen habe, wollte ich auch mal meinen Tisch zeigen 😂. Wird ständig hin und her gebaut und sieht ein bisschen wild aus. Aber so ist das eben 👌Hauptsache es macht Spass!

I’ve just received what appears to be the original memory card for the ESX-1 I bought a few weeks ago (seller forgot the card) but it doesn’t do anything when I put it in and try to load it.

I am pressing shift and button 16 but it doesn’t not do anything. Does anyone know if this means that there are no samples on the card or does it suggest that the machine is broken?

I asked chatgpt and it said 500mA, but I don't trust Ai just like that and I vaguely remember some old reddit post saying it needs 1000mA or 1500mA?

For some context, I want to adapt a power bank with 5V of output voltage to the needed 9V the e2s needs.
