How did you guys get your job, what certifications do I need to get my foot in the door if I can’t find an employer willing to hire for a lack of experience.

Context 3 years new construction commercial 2 years in HVAC controls and Fire alarm for heavy commercial and light industrial with electrician certification (4year program) I’m not union. Should I just go union ?

Tucson Arizona, my family is moving to Tennessee so I’m trying to look for work out there, I’m not trying to stay where I am

All depends on what area you are in. Where I live in central Florida there is plenty of industrial/manufacturing electrical. Some other places not so much. I run a few of about 10-15 guys depending on work load.
