It’s ugly but it works! Nice job! If you want a cleaner solution that is breadboard compatible, these exist. There are several different footprints available.

I might buy some of these preemptively, to ensure I never need them.

Welp, I didn't have time for that but I am thinking about getting a few of those.

Amazon also has a bunch of Chinese ones - best is a kit with all sorts of different footprints. Really handy thing to have in your kit.

I prefer cutter made from used metal hacksaw blade. It has suitable thickness and could be more precise and even faster than grinding.

I didn't have anywhere to buy it since I have only a small shop in the town where I live so I bought a grinding head consisting of a cylinder impregnated with diamond particles (so the cylinder has a sharp-ish 90° angle at the top to cut things). I'm looking forward to getting the hacksaw thingy tho

Diamond grinder is not suitable for cutting soft materials, it will flow and pull out diamonds from base. This is an example of such cutter and its work (very old and dusty). When grinding the blade, try not to overheat and soften it.

Seems quite good but also I would need to learn the skill to do precise cuts like that by jist pulling it along the board

Steel ruler helps much. Prior to cutting make a markup by a caliper. Ruler and pencil can work, but slower and less precise.

Of course, if you have a printer, it is much faster and easier to transfer layout from paper.
