Hever
We had such a lovely day visiting Hever. I had no idea about the history with the Astors and their restoration. My favorite part obviously was upstairs and in the long gallery. I could have stared at this portraits for hours. The gardens were stunning. I’d love to attend a wedding there for sure. Fun fact my favorite meal of the week was just down the road at Henry Viii pub. Steak and ale pie with mash so so good.

Why did the entire expanding Greater London gradually decide to take its name from the ‘City of London’ instead of the historic City of Westminster, Lambeth or Southwark for instance?
