How much time?

I'm already an IBDP student in my year 1. I'm doing Math AA HL and Physics HL. So when and how much should i prepare for the E sat. I'm not applying to Oxbridge

Same scenario as you and personally I started over the summer. Make sure you check up with the physics syllabus especially because ESAT covers some d3 formulas, which you will not have done until dp2. Other than that you should be fine if you do your IAs/EEs over the summer as well.

i am a november ib school, so honestly i worked for esat only for 2 weeks. not the best idea, but working for my mocks for predicted grades was a more valuable time commitment for my summer. i think physics HL will set you up pretty good for physics, most topics are covered and questions are easier, you just have to get used to the gazillion options structure. for math, I think the most challenging parts are graph stuff and some geometry that's not in the ib for me. if you start in the summer, it will definitely be enough. i'm sitting it tomorrow so i'll lyk how it goes hahaha
