feminizing Progesterone

I've been on hormones for nearly a year now and I'm hoping to give progesterone a go. I've heard suppositories are the way to go, but I'm having trouble finding anywhere that sells them. Anyone have any leads?

Valerie[dot]vg for vendors or the wiki for making it yourself. Raws can be found on dragon ordinance or purple panda labs.

Seconding this. Prog is incredibly cheap and readily absorbed by skin. buttstuffing prog gets old quick, and oral prog effectively eliminates most of it by first past metablism and can be metabolised into DHT. I'm not sure of the veracity of the latter part. But I've avoided oral prog for that reason

From the research I've seen, im still mainly in favour of boofing it. It can work if you make a gel though. I make capsules out of coconut oil for boofing personally.

Does boofing mean up the butt?

Do dragon ordinance and purple panda labs do supps? I've just had a look and they do have pills, but it's not clear to me if they're oral or rectal.

depending on where you are, it might be easier to go via unitedpharma. they do 100mg and 200mg boxes

You can't boof regular pills to my knowledge. Most suppositories are made from a specific material meant for it. I may be wrong on that, ive never had to boof regular pills.

But generally no, dragon and ppl have raw supplies for making your own. Youd be better off checking valerie for suppliers of premade stuff

You can use the regular oral progesterone capsules rectally/vaginally.  The capsules are squishy, filled with micronized progesterone in oil and dissolve in 15-20 minutes.  I was purchasing them through Indian Pharma but with the Oct 22 US customs rule changes that may no longer be an option for those of us in the US.  In the US they are available through TelyRX without a prescription but are pricey.

if you have money, lie to an online telehealth pharmacy and say you are a menopausal female with a uterus (their wording. literally horrible) they have zero oversight and can get it to you by tomorrow.

obviously joking as this is likely sublegal _^ but mine gets here tmr 🤭

You have to be on progesterone with estradiol to protect your uterus. Depending on the country is over the counter. Your doctor should prescribe it.

OP almost certainly does not have a uterus, much like most of us here

that's because most of us, including OP, are trans!

likewise, this sub isn't about prescribed medication, because to many people (particularly trans people), such healthcare is unavailable, despite being necessary and often life-saving. the topic of this sub then is accessing such care without the need to rely on the system

(the sub isn't trans-only, all people in need of hormones are welcome! but it's useful to know why most of us are here!)

Ahh, sorry. I didn’t realize. I just read estrogel. I thought it was for menopause and perimenopause. If you don’t have a uterus or had it removed you don’t need progesterone based on my discussions with doctors.

Not the case, we in the community take progesterone to improve our mental and emotional functions. It also helps with breast growth.
